Another Day, Another Chaotic Jr. Box Lacrosse Fight Featuring Helmets As Weapons
Box Lacrosse fights are going to be one of the only things that get me through this month of July. I feel like these guys just show up to the rink to play a fighting game and then maybe dabble with some lacrosse on the side. It’s barbaric. It’s chaotic. It’s primal and I love every second of it. Here we have the end of the intermediate championship game between the Niagara Thunderhawks and Orangeville. I know we’re all dying to know who won the actual game, but I don’t know for sure. Judging by the fistacuffs, however, I’d say the team with blue in their jerseys won because they had the most guys with their jerseys still on at the end of the fight. So congrats to the Niagra Thunderhawks on their championship victory. Some quick highlights.
Always great to see a helmet being used as a weapon rather than for protection. That’s how it’s done.
This was just a great brawl. Lot of real solid connections being made here.
Yard sale.
I really gotta know what the deal is with the maybe 16 people who are in the stands here. I gotta imagine they are parents of the players but I’m praying to whatever god you believe in that they’re just die hard Canadian Jr. Box Lacrosse fans. Now let’s run a couple more classics back from earlier this week. (And don’t worry, I’m not planning on making Box Lacrosse Fights a regular feature here so all you Anti-Lax hardos can rest easy).
